Notification Centre

Access all your notifications in one place:

  1. Click the Bell icon in the dashboard header
  2. View recent alerts
  3. Mark as read or take action

Notification Types

Actionable Notifications

Require your response:

  • Price change suggestions
  • Match reviews needed
  • Rule conflicts

Informational Notifications

Keep you informed:

  • Competitor price changes
  • Sync status updates
  • System announcements

Managing Alert Volume

Too Many Alerts?

If you're getting overwhelmed:

  1. Increase thresholds: Only alert for significant changes (e.g., 5%+ price drops)
  2. Switch to digests: Get daily summaries instead of immediate alerts
  3. Focus on categories: Limit alerts to high-priority products
  4. Disable low-priority: Turn off informational alerts

Not Enough Alerts?

If you're missing important changes:

  1. Lower thresholds: Alert for smaller price changes
  2. Add more alert types: Enable all relevant notifications
  3. Check spam folder: Ensure emails aren't filtered

Email Preferences

  1. Go to Settings > Notifications
  2. Configure for each alert type:
    • Email on: Immediate email
    • Email digest: Include in daily/weekly summary
    • Dashboard only: No email, just in-app

Quiet Hours

Prevent notifications during specific times:

  1. Go to Settings > Notifications
  2. Set Quiet Hours (e.g., 10 PM - 8 AM)
  3. Alerts queue during quiet hours and deliver afterward

Unsubscribing

To stop all emails:

  1. Click Unsubscribe in any email footer, or
  2. Go to Settings > Notifications and disable email

Note: Critical account alerts (billing, security) cannot be disabled.
